The big networks would never admit this, but no single network can cover you everywhere. So we built an eSIM that connects you to every major UK network: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone.
When your signal drops, switch in a few taps to keep WhatsApp, Maps, email and 500+ more essential apps running on another available network.
No more expensive roaming fees, hunting for wifi or fiddly travel eSIMs.
From the moment you land, Smart SIM gives you unlimited data on WhatsApp, Maps, Booking.com and hundreds more essential apps. No surprise costs, ever.
One flat fee, no catches. Choose between £10/month or £45/year (that's just £3.75/month) for total peace of mind you'll stay connected when it matters most.
Building Honest has been full of wild moments. But getting investment offers from Deborah Meaden and Steven Bartlett on Dragons' Den might just top the lot.
We started Honest because we were fed up with the big networks. Now more than 100,000 people back us, and we won't rest until rubbish signal and expensive roaming are ancient history.
Smart SIM works alongside your main SIM, not instead of it. It's data-only, so you keep your number, your network and your contract.
No switching means nothing to lose. Order and set up your Smart SIM in minutes.

Smart SIM is the ultimate back-up eSIM. It's a data-only eSIM that works alongside your main SIM to give you:
📶 Unbeatable UK signal – 500+ apps on EE, O2, Three and Vodafone
🌎 Free global roaming – 500+ apps with unlimited data in 180+ countries
So whether you’re deep in the countryside, mid-commute, or holidaying in Cameroon, Smart SIM keeps you connected when it matters most.
Set up once then switch in a few taps whenever you lose signal or go abroad. No more rubbish signal, relying on wifi or expensive roaming fees 👋
Easy. Switch to Smart SIM in just a few taps or wait for it to kick in when your main SIM completely loses signal.
Good question. We’ve always done things differently at Honest in our mission to build the best mobile network on the planet.
After introducing Classic SIM to thousands of happy customers, we knew people everywhere still faced two big problems: rubbish signal and expensive roaming. So we built Smart SIM.
All the most essential ones: WhatsApp, Google Maps, Uber, Citymapper, Monzo… the list goes on. Check out the 500+ apps on Smart SIM here.
Our Smart SIM annual plan is £45/year (that's just £3.75/month). Or you can go for our rolling monthly plan at £10/month.
We wouldn’t recommend it. You'll need your main SIM for calls and texts, social media and streaming, and open web browsing.
Smart SIM works alongside your main SIM, ready for you to switch to whenever you lose signal or go abroad. Think of it as your trusty back-up, there when you need it most.
It sure is. Consider it the all-you-can-eat buffet for apps including WhatsApp, Google Maps, Uber, Monzo and many more 📱
You can WhatsApp call and message, but if you're going old school, you'll need your main SIM for texts and calls.
Smart SIM is eSIM only, so you can add it to your phone and start using alongside your main SIM right away.
Just check your phone is eSIM compatible before ordering.
We thought you’d never ask 🤩 Click here to get your Smart SIM – you’ll be up and running quicker than you can say ‘unbeatable signal and free global roaming’.
Smart SIM is the ultimate back-up eSIM. It works alongside your main SIM (on any network) to give you 500+ apps on EE, O2, Three and Vodafone, plus free global roaming in 180+ countries around the world. So you never have to worry about rubbish signal or expensive roaming again.
Classic SIM, on the other hand, is your essential everyday UK SIM for texts, calls and data. Classic SIM piggybacks on just one of the big networks to give you 99% UK population coverage and access to fast & reliable 5G. For the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to your signal, we recommend using both.
Not yet. Smart SIM doesn’t support VPNs right now, but we’re working hard on new features. Watch this space 👀
To keep Smart SIM affordable, we’ve limited it to apps that don’t gobble up endless data. That means social media and streaming are off the cards (for now, at least). On the flip side, you have more than 500 apps (and counting) at your fingertips, whether you’re on the train, on your travels or out on the town. Plus, it’ll give you a break from all that doomscrolling 😉
